A very valid concern currently DAG size is 3.42 GB and apparently we will reach 4GB on Dec 26 this year but we will see 4GB cards fail before that. So we most definitely face a drop in hashrate coming from these 4GB cards stopping mining. Check current and future Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) file size for Ethereum now and estimate for future. DAG file size incises every mining epoch. The current DAG size is 3.49 GB for Ethereum and 3.58 GB for Ethereum Classic.
